Measurements and Tests

All measurements can be carried out individually for each type of metal deposited, even on the same part.

Galvanic Coating Thickness Measurements

Using advanced X-ray equipment, we are able to check the amount of galvanic deposit on the part, ensuring the coating thickness required by the customer.

Material Hardness Measurement

Thanks to state-of-the-art machinery, we are able to measure the hardness of materials that have undergone heat treatment according to customer specifications and/or requests. The part is heated and inserted into a professional resin, which is then polished to section the material. Afterward, a microdurometer is used to measure the hardness with the required load weight specified by the customer.

Porosity Test

The porosity test aims to assess the quality of the gold deposition on a part. It is performed only on samples that have a minimum gold thickness of 1 µm. The test involves immersing the part in a chemical solution capable of detecting any non-conformities and/or uneven deposits of the treated material on the required part.

Material Weldability Test

This test is performed only on parts that will be welded during the assembly phase. Using a professional well, a layer of tin is applied to the sample parts, with thickness varying according to the customer’s requirements. The adhesion of the deposited material is then checked using specific magnifying lenses and microscopes.
